How do i get my fax license applied to a re-installation?

one of our clients had a freepbx system and we bought the license upgrade for faxing. 25yr license, etc.

PC got blown up by lightning, had to fully replace and re-install.
How do we re-deploy the license onto the new hardware?

Tried calling Sangoma support# listed on the invoice - it is a full dead-end. dead phone tree branches. website won’t let me log on to log support… it’s almost as if it’s another nigerian scam system…

How are users supposed to get help for something they paid for?

To move FreePBX licensing to new hardware you need to log into portal.sangoma.com portal that deployment is in, go to PBXs click on the deployment in question and click hardware reset…

You then log into web admin page of your new deployment, go to SysAdmin>Activate, put email and password of your cloud acct in and then on next acreen select “Existing Deployment” and enter the deployment ID of your old machine and click Activate.

Now the new hardware will be the same deployment of your old machine and all purchased licensed will be transfered and available on this new hardware

Thanks.
ran into an issue… it only allowed me to create a new deployment instead of using the old location name and old ID.
Now i’ve got TWO accounts with the same location name (and 2 different deployment IDs), but the licenses are still stuck on the old deplooyemnt with the blown hardware…
and I am out of “zend resets” …

how do I fix this?
it says to contact support… of course I have tried, but no response from them…

There are legitimate Nigerian FreePBX users here. So I would say I find this offensive being a legit Nigerian

You didnt click the existing deployment tab at the top after you put in your email and password during the activation of the new install.

You need to go to sysadmin>activation in the new install and click "Deactivate ". This will start the activation process again. This time, click “Existing Deployment” during the activation process.

Also, ive worked with support multiple times for multiple deployments over the past week without issue.

Log into help.sangoma.com and open a support ticket…

I didn’t say legit nigerian…
I said Nigerian scam system.

There is a real and significant difference… Unless of course, you’re implying that you’re a Nigerian scammer and are offended at being called out??

I’m guessing the American scam system is one I would be more focused on.
