How can I test the MySQL server?

I’m having problems with the logs (CDR and call event logs) and I’m suspecting it’s an issue between Asterisk/FreePBX and MySQL. I’m not sure how I can look into this further. Would anyone be able to tell me how go further and check if Asterisk has the correct connections?

Is your issue with reading or writing CDR/CEL or both?

If the question is more general, you can add a package called “mytop” which can (among other things) give you stats on your database usage.

As @lgaetz mentioned, what problems do you suspect you are having?
