Hotdesking with FreePBX 16 and Sangoma phones

Running Sangoma P325 and P330s, remote/cloud setup.

Having an issue getting this working right. It “sort of” works.

So I have the hotdesking app on, and it logs out, reboots, and when it’s rebooting the phone throws a “Cannot connect to proxy error”, reboots again(sometimes multiple times) until it eventually shows me the login screen, where I can log in with the extension/vm pin and reboots again (sometimes again, and again with the same proxy error) and then eventually to my desired extension.

Am I doing something wrong here or is it really just this cumbersome and slow? On a really old Avaya setup logging in and out was instant…

The “Cannot connect to proxy” error occurs only when there is an issue connecting to the PBX, which is usually network-related.

What is the firmware version running on the phone?
What is the version of the Endpoint Manager module?

Can you capture a tcpdump on the PBX to check what happens during these failed attempts?
