Help Understanding Version Numbers

So i recently upgraded to version 13 using the upgrade module in the web gui. I’m still on Asterisk 11 which is causing some issues with CDR’s and User Manager. I was going to try and upgrade my asterisk but having trouble understanding where i’m at and where i need to be.

The footer of my Webgui show’s FreePBX 13.0.26
The System Admin shows
PBX Firmware: 6.12.65-31
PBX Service Pack: 1.0.0.0

System Admin : Updates shows Your server is up to date! No updates are required.

http://wiki.freepbx.org/display/PPS/FreePBX-Distro-6.12.65 indicates that I can upgrade to the latest stable 10.13.66-1 with a script

http://wiki.freepbx.org/display/PPS/FreePBX-Distro-10.13.66 indicates that there are versions up to FreePBX Distro 10.13.66-6 (which i’m assuming are not stable yet)

So my question is

  1. what is the the actual latest stable version for me to be running and
  2. how can i upgrade my asterisk version

I read somewhere about the command to change the asterisk version on the fly but also read they that the upgrade script is recommended.

Hi!

10.13.66-6 for the distro…

As for the FreePBX modules themselves they each have their version…

asterisk-version-switch at the command line…

Good luck and have a nice day!
