I think you will find, whenever the phone boots, it will attempt to pull the load from the freepbx server. You will need the load on your server, within a tftp or ftp directory. Ultimately you will need to be running an TFTP server to load the phones, I also believe using Cisco callmanager will not help you, each phone has to be configured from configuration files within this TFTP directory.
Saying this, I know nothing about this phone, I mainly deal with 7960 and up. I would seek advice and read documentation on the Cisco website related to that phone.
