Help me Strip CallerID incoming calls

Hello Everyone ,
i Facing Problem in Asterisk in coming call
i got calls start With number “2” Something like that “20102911475”
i Need to Remove Number “2” i try add new custom context in extension_additional.conf
but no Luck im like nobbi can anyone help me

Did you try to use the Set CallerID module? Change CallerID Number to
${CALLERID(num):1} and continue your call routing

i dont see set callerid module
But i try context

[from-trunk-custom]
exten => _X!,1,Set(CALLERID(num)=${CALLERID(num):1})

But no luck , i dont know why , and still From-pstn execute not the custom that i already add in Exten_custom.conf

Don’t use the context from-trunk-custom.

Try a context like this

[from-pstn-preprocess]
exten => _.,1,Set(CALLERID(num)=${CALLERID(num):1})
exten => _.,n,Goto(from-pstn,${EXTEN},1))

And then edit your trunk(s) to use this context from-pstn-preprocess

This is also doable in the GUI using the Set Caller ID module and set the value to

${CALLERID(num):1}

Applications>Set CallerID

If you don’t see it there then install it

Admin>Module Admin

Then Ctrl+F and search for CallerID. Install the module and it should now be available under Applications

No. You must not modify extensions.conf.

from-pstn-preprocess (which I think is a too generic name) is defined in extensions_custom.conf, but referenced from the GUI.
