Unfortunately, I don’t remember my password, and none of the recovery methods are working. I’ve tried both the password reset option and the login link via email, but I haven’t received any messages on the email address associated with the account

Please check your previous email address’ Spam and Junk folders.
We can probably merge the old account into the new account, then glue in the new email to the combined account as a secondary email address - migrating it to primary once it is confirmed. Couple of steps but done this for a couple of other accounts…
I don’t quite understand. What is the reason for deleting / not being able to log in to an account that I have been actively using for a long time? What is the purpose of this?

It’s a long story. Sincere apologies for the trouble. The main issue is that one of the authentication plugins took on a bit of bit rot and was no longer compatible with the latest versions of the Discourse software that these forums run on. There’s also the issue of needing to log in to a site again sometimes after upgrades.
The step-by-step is probably best done over Direct Messages – will start a thread with you now on that…
@penguinpbx I can’t seem to find the direct message option. I’d like my new account to be merged with my old. Mails aren’t sent to my old mail address. Help?
