Hardware and Software for freepbx?

hello, I’m hoping this is the right place for this. I’m replacing a old freepbx system with a new system. I just wanted to know If I have say max 20 phones how many CPU cores and how much memory do I need? The second question is someone a long time ago helped me to setup TFTP on the freepbx is the new version come with TFTP because the old one did not.

You could also use these specs as guides to a build your own. An several years old PC, small NUC or even a Pi could likely achieve what you are looking for. You don’t need a lot of resources. You need to factor in if you are doing other things like transcoding or are you storing call recordings. Those will also impact your requirements.

I would imagine 1 core and 1GB would be enough on any desktop less than 10 years old, unless you are doing something CPU intensive.
