Hello everybody,
we have an issue with our voice vlan we have grandstream GXP2140 its working with data vlan normally with no issues when until we created voice VLAN we faced a abnormal issue in some phones not all of them we are facing 2 way audio no audio from both side so after upgrading these phones that are facing this issue and we have packet capture in them to check the issue the issue seems to me that the phone can’t ping the asterisk and vice versa phones can’t ping the asterix we created a firewall policy for that and gave service all after capturing the traffic still same issue I tried to ping the phone from the asterix it self there is ping , I can’t mitigate the problem really so any help would be really appreciated

Howdy! Welcome to the forums.

Voice VLANs can be difficult to setup but well worth the hassle for the increased network isolation and protection they offer. A lot of VLAN configuration is controlled at the switch level. You can check what your switches support and often find the issue there.

Also, you might want to check your network configuration settings in FreePBX for proper VLAN specification.
