I went to Web GUI Wizard. After answering “Yes” to “Automatically configure Asterisk IP Settings?” I lost connection to GUI, and also unable to connect via SSH.
What do I do now?

Howdy! Welcome to the forums.
Can you try rebooting the box a couple of times in a row within a few minutes of each other ?
Then try SSH’ing back in and hold that connection open until you sort out what is going on with your GUI.
I rebooted, GUI is showing that firewall is not enabled, and everything looks good so far.
But, honestly, it’s not a good start. Shall I expect more surprises like this?
Log in locally and use the following command
fwconsole firewall stop
or
systemctl firewalld stop
If you are running FreePBX 17 the command may look like this
login using su then
sudo -u root fwconsole firwall stop
i havnt figured up why even logged in as root using su that sudo and the user needs to be specified.
if you have any additional firewalls, you may need to configure those appropriatly. then once in whitelist your IP’s as appropriate in the firewall app located at
Admin → System Admin → Intrusion Detection → Interfaces (if on a LAN) or Networks as needed, confirm you dont have yourself blocked in the landing page and test.
