Now that google voice is gone. Is there any options at all for me to make free calls with my small system at home?
I can’t think of any that allow you to do that, and even the cheap “home phone” solutions aren’t free.
For a cheap solution with low to no minimums, you could try telnyx.
Just buy a DID from VoIP.ms for $1 or less and pay for usage. Unless you are on the phone an ungodly amount of time the cost will be next to nothing.
If you are on the phone that much, then pay for service, because it is obviously important to you to be on the phone.

Been using OBI with Google Voice.
However, Google might block the OBI if there’s too much “chatter”. A reboot brings it back up.

Okay so I got the phones to call out but when i try to call the 2 desk phones i have the line never rings so im assuming im doing something is wrong the destination part for incoming calls. The phone company says my phone system is responding with a 480 Temporarily Unavailable on all the call attempts.

This gives you some hints on how to use the logs to see what the error is.
Looks like something on the inbound rules is not actually connecting that number to an extension.
Leave the DID number field blank, try calling the DID, if it goes through check in CDR what the full DID is and enter it in the DID field.
