Although I’ve never looked too deep into it… fwconsole restart fails to restart asterisk on my system - something crashes during the restart. I usually have to issue fwconsole start afterwards.
I moved this to a new thread as the other one is technically solved and I didn’t want to hijack it.
fwconsole restart literally calls stop, start… you should call stop and see if there is anything useful
I had this problem for a while and solved it by changing the “stop;start” to “stop, sleep 5; start”. I had a couple of problems with stuff not stopping quickly and it would crash the start because the program hadn’t stopped completely.
It seems to me it might have been DAHDI, but I just don’t remember the details.
