I have started the Asterisk service and it shows running, but port 5038 is not opening. The same issue occurs when running fwconsole reload, which shows an error. What should I do? The Asterisk service stopped accidentally, and after that the services are not able to restore.
Had a similar headache with fwconsole reload looping and refusing to apply changes. In my case it was a stuck module and permission mismatch after an update. Checking fwconsole ma list and fixing ownership on /var/www/html helped. Also worth restarting asterisk and httpd just to clear things out. Annoying issue, but usually something small blocking it.
