Are you talking about FreePBX or Asterisk by itself. If it’s just for Asterisk by itself you should go to https://community.asterisk.org since that is for just Asterisk.
If you are trying to learn about Asterisk, as @BlazeStudios said, you should start in their community, if not … I prefer videos (not sure how self-taught you are), but Youtube has a lot of videos.
