Fresh Install of FreePBX 16

After a totally failed attempt at upgrading from 13 to 16 and then finding out I was root compromised, I did a complete VPS reload (hosted at FreePBXHosting) and have a clean install of 16. I can’t, however, access it via the web GUI nor SSH and I’m wondering if I’m missing a step.

I did search here and found this thread that talks about enabling external access from the terminal (I have VNC access to the VPS) but even after fwconsole restart it still won’t let me in.

Has the port changed perhaps? Is it not port 80/443 on version 16?

most likely the firewall is blocking connection. Try disabling the firewall with

fwconsole firewall disable

Then see if you can access the web ui
