Hello everyone,
I would like to route my outgoing and incoming calls from my Fritzbox (german router) through freepbx in order to record and transcribe my own calls - with the consent of the other party, of course. Ideally implemented in such a way that only the other party can initiate the recording by DTMF tones.
Initial situation:
Telekom (provider) connection with Fritzbox 7590 with connected analog doorbell and DECT Fritzfon.
Can anyone give me some hints on how to do this in freepbx?
This is just a weird setup. freePBX is a high-end telephony system, whereas a Fritzbox is an internet router with very limited phone functionality. If you just want to use your Fritzbox endpoints (DECT, analog-isdn-phones) you could use the Fritzbox as a voip-adapter…but I assume you also have a (virtualized) analogue landline to your provider, right?
You set two “eigene Rufnummern” and then you create SIP-trunks in your Fritzbox, which connect to freePBX as an extension. freePBX becomes the phone system. But what about your outside connection. Do you have user credentials for a trunk to the Deutsche Telekom or just a copper cable?
