Brand new to this Forum and brand new to FreePBX - though I am an experience VoIP Engineer (CUCM, Mitel, Shoretel). I have spun up a new virtual instance of FreePBX 16 on KVM. It has two nics - one for OOB management and one on a dedicated vlan for voice. I have the FreePBX server set up as the DHCP server on the voice vlan with both option 66 and 150 populated pointing to itself. I have two Sangoma P325’s cabled into this voice vlan and they are drawing IP addresses from this server. However, they are not registering. Instead they hang with the error message “Error contacting proxy server. You can retry, choose a new server, or reset any stored credentials and then retry.”
I was following Atlassian’s Sangoma documentation but I must have missed something.
Any ideas what I missed?
Can you point me in a good read for newbie introduction to FreePBX?
