Is there anything I’ve missed that would have caused this (I know I saw log in buttons disappeared after updates, but I am currently logged in, so that’s not it).
I have had it activated before when we first set it up in 2022. Do you mean if I haven’t done it myself since then, or does that count the initial activation?
First thing I’d try is to run the command to try to activate it again, if it fails or doesn’t work, I’d DM @tmilbrand your email for the Sangoma portal.
Yeah, I’ll see what he says - at this point, I think I need to get into the portal. I did DM him after his reply. I did just now run the command and it says:
I’m wondering if the VM we have FreePBX one lost the original MAC address. I’m assuming if the MAC address changes, it thinks it’s a new machine and needs to be activated again? I haven’t confirmed if the MAC address is set for static or not, it’s on a Hyper-V host I don’t have access to, lol. Waiting for my boss to check the address setting.
When you register a deployment, it gets “locked” to that hardware. You can follow the instructions below to reset your hardware lock right from the portal.
