FreePBX Firewall Service not running after update

Just to inform you all guys that the issue has been solved after upgrading the firewall with the last update that was released yesterday. (firewall 13.0.55.1).

Had the same issue this morning with a bunch of servers. Here’s what worked for me:

fwconsole chown
fwconsole firewall start

Some still wouldn’t start so ran:

fwconsole ma refreshsignatures
fwconsole firewall start

Tried this, but did not work.

Did you try to reboot your server?

Or perhaps do you have any pending updates?

fwconsole ma upgradeall

Then

fwconsole reload

fwconsole firewall start

Tried this did not work.

Upgraded to this. Then rebooted and the firewall worked for about 5 minutes then stopped. Uninstalled the firewall and reinstalled and it worked after a reboot for about 5 minutes then stopped.
