FreePbx can't connect after a restore

After doing a restore, seeing in Asterisk

[2023-08-07 05:23:30] NOTICE[8803] manager.c: 127.0.0.1 tried to authenticate with nonexistent user ‘admin’
[2023-08-07 05:23:30] NOTICE[8803] manager.c: 127.0.0.1 failed to authenticate as ‘admin’

Looking at manager.conf. the admin user has been replaced with some long hexadecimal looking string. Changing it back to “admin” and doing a reload allows FreepbX. The restore file has “admin” in its manager.conf. Although, FreePbx doesn’t seem to restore this file anyway.

Using FreePBX 16.0.40. Any suggestions?
