FreePBX and Grandstream HT813

Hello all,

Since the thread below is locked I’d like to post an issue with my HT813.
So far the device can connect to my FreePBX on FXS and calls are going through normally. Sadly this is not the case with the FXO. My pjsip trunk is configured as mentioned by @Stewart1, and for some reason, the HT813 cannot register to the PBX. Would like to mention that the HT813 is behind a NAT and as I’m not sure how to configure port forwarding.

Thanks for any ideas on how to debug this.

You shouldn’t need any port forwarding on the HT end. Also, turn off any SIP ALG or similar in that router/firewall.

If the PBX is behind a different NAT, your port forwarding there is probably correct; otherwise the FXS side wouldn’t work.

What, if anything, appears in the Asterisk log when the FXO side attempts to register?
If nothing, check that FXO side is registering to correct IP (or domain name) and port.

Actually I noticed now that the trunk is up (State: Available) but when calling it throws this error and the message all circuits are busy now

[2024-10-27 21:05:13] WARNING[22772]: res_pjsip_outbound_authenticator_digest.c:551 digest_create_request_with_auth: Endpoint: 'Grandstream': Authentication credentials not accepted by server.

SIP registration appears to be ok on FPBX and HT813

I’m puzzled.
At the Asterisk command prompt, type
pjsip set logger on
make a call attempt, paste the Asterisk log for the call at pastebin.com and post the link here.
