Ive just upgraded to Freepbx 2.9 and find the user freepbx/fpbx no longer works when logging into the GUI…
User admin with the default password admin works fine
Is this expected or a bug ??
freepbx.conf still contains freepbx and fpbx, therefore im assuming its a bug ?
Any advise is welcome

no it’s not a bug.
logging in with the db credentials is a back door way to get into the admin which represents a security issue that is often exploited.
Given that, we have made that ability configurable and on upgrade we detect if you have a real admin account and if so we close that ability. You can turn it back on if you want, it’s in Advanced Settings.
