FreePBX 17 won't Activate

I just installed FreePBX 17 on Debian 12.
It won’t activate.
It asks for my email, it seems to accept it.
It them asks me if I want various commercial things through a series of 5 ads. I say skip.
It then cycles back to the System Admin screen and says “the server is not activated”.

What am I doing wrong?

Do you have an active Sangoma Portal account under the email address you used ?

Hell, I was eventually successful. I think my issue was the portal account.
The process was not very clear and I think error handling could be improved so users know what problem is preventing activation.

The Sangoma Portal Documentation is getting updated - am curious what the exact error was.
