FreePBX 17 - Serial Console Installation

Hi, I’m new to the FreePBX world, so far I have been installing it and using it on x86 VMs, but I recently acquired an appliance that only has a serial console.

I flashed the .iso on a usb with rufus and started the appliance, but it is stuck at:

I have been trying to find a guide or help on this forum older posts and such, but so far nothing. Anyone could help me? Thank you

That is still x86 ?

Do modern kernels support it ?

yes, it is still supported by debian.

I don’t think this is really a FreePBX question. You are still trying to boot the installer for Debian. A web search indicates syslinux requires special settings, but even that might not work.

Even if you install a 32-bit OS you will not be able to use the packaging for Asterisk or FreePBX (64-bit) so it would be up to you to compile Asterisk and to install FreePBX without the installer script. I personally would not bother, would spend a small amount of money to get a 64-bit system instead of spending countless hours trying to make the old architecture work.
