Stop looking on the web you are over complicating this process. Go to module admin in freepbx and check online there. It’s the place where you download and update freepbx modules

That is the first place I looked I just checked again I do not see module.
Thanks

It’s called “user control panel” it is there. Just checked.

Just found the problem the Framework was disabled I just enable now I have the user panel,
Thanks for putting me on the right track

FreePBX ARI Framework 2.11.1.4 Stable Schmooze Com Inc GPLv3+ Enabled

That has nothing to do with the new user control panel. That is the old ARI. You will notice that when you actually click it. It will take you to recordings which has nothing new

Are you sure that is what you want?

Just noticed it is the old one . Was looking to install the new one ?
Also should it still be at PBX Firmware: 5.211.65-16 PBX Service Pack: 1.0.0.0 even after the upgrade to FreePBX 12.0.1rc12

The new one is called “user control panel” if you don’t see it you aren’t updated to freepbx 12

And you didn’t run the distro upgrade scripts so you can’t expect to be any higher than you are now. That’s a separate process all together.

I dont see it and the system status shows 12 ? and the system status page is the new one ?

I just followed the online upgrade and also at the end used the command line (amportal a ma refreshsignatures) as per instruction

You need to follow the distro upgrade scripts as well. That is (as I’ve said) a separate process from updating FreePBX itself. There is a separate of products here that are aren’t gasping. FreePBX by itself is a web configuration interface for Asterisk. The FreePBX Distro houses FreePBX but is much more than just a web configuration gui and thus has a separate upgrade process. You can upgrade the distro here: http://wiki.freepbx.org/display/FD/FreePBX-Distro-6.12.65

As for UCP, you can look here: http://mirror.freepbx.org/modules-12.0.xml and see that it’s online. Search for “rawname>ucp” and you will see it.

Since you can’t find it by checking online you can go to the CLI and run:

amportal a ma download ucp

OK Got the UCP module installed
now going to upgrade Freepbx distro 6.12.65
Thanks

One more question I have updated to http://upgrades.freepbxdistro.org/stable/6.12.65/upgrade-6.12.65-2.sh
should i go to http://upgrades.freepbxdistro.org/stable/6.12.65/upgrade-6.12.65-15.sh
Thanks for your help
RD

Yes but I advise when you are finished to reinstall framework

Thanks again for your assistance

Hi, I don’t know if this is the same issue or if I should open a new topic, but I just updated to the new version 12 and the User Control Panel shows as "Not Installed (Locally available: 12.0.0beta25) ". I try to install it and I get this:

Please wait while module actions are performed
Installing ucp
Refreshing all UCP Assets, this could take a while…
Generating Module Scripts…Done
Generating Module CSS…Done
Generating Main Scripts…

And then it hangs. Nothing else happens. I have tried several times and the same result every time. Then I tried to remove it, and it goes to "Not Installed (Available online: 12.0.0beta25) " and reinstall, using Download and Install and I get:

Please wait while module actions are performed
Upgrading ucp to 12.0.0beta25 from track stable
Downloading ucp
Found module locally, verifying…Verified. Using Local
Installing ucp
Untarring…Done
Refreshing all UCP Assets, this could take a while…
Generating Module Scripts…Done
Generating Module CSS…Done
Generating Main Scripts…

and it hangs again. I even tried to remove the module locally and reinstall and force download of the module from the repository, but still, same problem. I can’t install the UCP.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Nevermind. After some googling, I found out I can install/manage modules using the amportal command line command. So I used the

amportal a ma download ucp -f

command to force a fresh download and then the

amportal a ma install ucp

command to install it and it worked. All is good now, so it might be a bug in the module admin or something particular to my system.

Thanks any way.

Are you on a PI or something just as slow?
