Formatting incoming Caller ID

At the moment incoming CID displays like this

+441953861225

I want to match this against our CID Lookup in our Phonebook. Problem is that the format in the phonebook is like this 01953861225 so unable to match.

Can anybody tell me how to ‘clean up’ the incoming CID (remove the +44 and add a 0) … I know this can be done with asterisk when coded by hand, so must be a way to do it in FreePBX.

I think Tom did it with a custom inbound diaplan. Refer to Trixbox Forum

Thanks - yes Tom did post a reply and I proceeded to break my asterisk somehow :wink:

Can’t have been the custom dialplan but I must have done something!

Will have a look this evening.
