Follow Me Ring Time and Destination Take Precedence over Ring Group Configuration

Hello,
I have a ring group configured with multiple extensions.
Those extensions have follow me enabled.

When I add the # suffix to an extension in the ring group extension list, the follow me ring time and no-answer destination takes precedence over the ring group’s timer and no answer destination.

Is there a way to have the ring group’s no-answer destination and ring time take precedence instead?

I realize, I could add the follow me targets to the ring group extension list, and forego adding the # suffix, however, some (but not all) users are making use of the call confirm functionality available within the follow me configuration.

Software Versions:
Debian 12
Asterisk 21.5.0
FreePBX 17.0.19.21

Howdy! Welcome to the forums.

Perhaps the call confirmation feature of Ring Groups is sufficient for your purposes ?

Or, you might be pushing past the bounds of Follow Me + Ring Groups and on in to Queues, where call confirmation is also available ?
