Follow-me in queues with unregistered extensions

Hi there, I would like to allow users with unregistered extensions to retrieve calls in a queue even when there is no registered extension. Follow-me is set, and the Advanced > Unreachable option is set to ‘Force Follow-me’ however this is not honored from within a queue. It cannot be a ring-group because agents login using the extension number via DISA, and managers set the Follow-me destinations via UCP.

Is there a way to accomplish this, I am willing to permanently set the extension status to registered or idle if necessary. Thanks for any insight!

Just use a virtual or custom extension? They are built for this purpose.
