The big thing I see is everyone has to recertify by March 1st 2026 and that includes updating your RMP. The biggest complaint before as a Voice Provider was we had to review each resellers RMD filling and we had to make a judgment call if their RMD and RMP were sufficient and we had no way to notify the FCC if we found one that was not sufficient. They now have a full reporting mechanism that any filling that looks to be deficient can now be reported to the FCC. I think we are going to find a lot of voice providers turning in the small resellers who are not following the rules and the fines are 10,000 per violation. It is time everyone gets serious here and reviews their RMD and their RMP before March 1st.

There still seems to be a lot of confusion over here in the UK over how Foreign Entities are meant to handle all of this. Some providers are being more strict than others in how it’s all implemented.
