Ya this is going to put a big hurt on all the small resellers who so far have not properly registered on the RMD. Every reseller who sells voice services to a end customer even if they don’t have their own softswitch but connect the customer PBX direct to their carriers switch will now be required to have their own STIR/SHaKeN certificate. They will either need to sign the calls by putting in their own SBCs or some middleware or use a carrier that will let them host their certificate and sign calls for the reseller using their own certificate.
