Faxes Backup and restore - Fax pro Inbound and Outbound faxes

So, I just did a backup and restore from Freepbx 14 to 16. Faxes sent and received by Fax pro module were not copied over. Fax widget in UCP shows all the entries. But, when we try to view or download the faxes, it says file not found. /var/spool/asterisk/fax is empty.

• Do we have to include the directory /var/spool/asterisk/fax when we take the backup? Is that enough or is there any other thing that is needed?
• Also, we are not copying over the CDRs. I hope faxes are not tied to it.

Hi @dsubs
If you are running with “Full Backup” template, the faxes will not be included. So add the fax directory “/var/spool/asterisk/fax” to your backup and give it a try. This should resolve your issue.
