Fax Module wrong Extension/CID

Hi again

I am having problems with a new creation of a fax user with the latest beta - after creating a new extension (with user) the fax-tab is showing up in the UCP and behaves normally, but:

  • sending faxes is not possible (stuck at the routes, probably no correct CID set).
  • receiving faxes is not possible either (transmission works good, fax is saved as tif-File but not displayed in the UCP).

Best wishes

You have extension routes set and are blocking the route. This has nothing to do with faxing

Hi Andrew

that I already mentioned.
As I also mentioned I guess that the outbound CallerID was not set correctly by the fax and I do think this is the reason for being stuck at the routes.
The correct outCID should be 222 (as the user is linked to extension 222). I miss a field to set the outbound CID for faxing.

Yup I fixed it after I read this then I couldn’t find this thread again.

Hey Andrew,
this Version 13.0.21 is the latest for now, am I correct?
