Failed to connect to the Asterisk manager

I’am using Centos 5, Asterisk 1.4.8 , FreePBX 2.3.0Beta2 and used following guide to my installation

after installation when try to login //xx.xx.xx.xx/admin it gives following message

“Failed to connect to the Asterisk manager through port: 5038”

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

try enter the following at a command line:
echo > /etc/asterisk/manager_additional.conf
echo > /etc/asterisk/manager_custom.conf

I already entered that comment you have given, but it’s still not work…
