Fail2ban persistent bans

After restarting fail2ban, all banned IP Addresses disappear.

How can I configure fail2ban, to maintain it’s list of banned IPs, even after restarting?

The current fail2ban moved to sqlite3 for its database, its iptables are no longer lost over restarts

I patched the modules and the OS today. So I’m up to date on everything. Must I configure something for fail2ban to stop losing it’s banned ip’s?

is there a way to upgrade manually? Or is it better to wait for an official release for freepbx?
