Hello there
After an upgrade from 2.3.1 to 2.5.1 (with all modules also upgraded prior to pressing the red 'reload), I can’t get the extensions to work.
A reboot fixed the CLI message:
Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk/asterisk.ctl exist?)
But extensions still offline…how can I best approach this?

I had been running on a different bindport…port 5064…this was not carried over into the /etc/asterisk/sip.conf…so have added ‘bindport=5064’ temporarily to that file and will move it to one of the custom files to prevent loss in future
Typing ‘sip show peers’ at the CLI shows all is now well
