"Error parsing /etc/pki/tls/certs/localhost.crt " when trying to install certificate

I generated a CSR, signed it in our certificate authority and imported it into FreePBX. Import in Certificate Manager seems to have worked fine:

However, when I switch to System Admin>HTTPS Setup>Settings, choose the certificate and click Install, I get the above error:

Any idea what can be done about this?

Pretty well universally , self signed certificates are now useless.

I disagree. They help encrypting my internal communication, help reveal man-in-the-middle-attacks, and above all save me from annoying security warnings.
