Error: (how to fix) after clicking on RED APPLY button

Hi SangomaOS Team:

On some PBXs, for some reason, an error has started to happen after making some changes, and then clicking on the RED APPLY button.

See screenshot

NOTE:
running tail -f /var/log/asterisk/freepbx.log show this output

[2022-11-16 19:40:34] [freepbx.INFO]: [NOTIFICATION]-[freepbx]-[RCONFFAIL] - ‘fwconsole reload’ failed, config not applied (The command “/usr/sbin/asterisk -rx ‘core show version’” failed. Exit Code: 1(General error) Working directory: /var/www/html/admin Output: ================ Error Output: ================ Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk/asterisk.ctl exist?) ) [] []

FIX:
SSH into PBX and run the command
fwconsole reload --verbose

Refresh the UI screen, the changes go through and the RED APPLY is gone

Any tips on why this is happening, and what the fix might be?

Sometimes fwconsole chown fixes the issue, other times there is some other underlying issue (like restapps if your EPM license is expired). See what else the dashboard says is wrong.

ok. Thank you.
We don’t use EPM, so maybe I’ll remove the module.
I think RESTapps are needed for the Asterisk Info module.

Appreciate the tips.
