EPM - Yealink Firmware and Provisioning Versions

Hi

Please can you tell me if you are updating the Provisioning settings and features in accordance with new releases of firmware?

If so how to you make sure that the correct settings are being applied for the firmware version of the handsets?

Also, if I add a number of custom settings which you then include in the standard feature set, do you check to make sure these will not be duplicated?

The reason for asking the above is that I have created separate BaseFiles for V70, V71 and V72 firmware releases, and want to avoid clashes in the settings.

Many thanks.

Nigel.

The V70, 71 and 72 are all the same configs.

Hi Tony

Unless I’m much mistaken, there are new commands in the later releases. As one single example V72 allows you to control the behaviour of the Power LED to alert for messages, mute, ringing, whereas V71 does not.

Also, daylight saving commands seem to work differently between V70 and V71 in the T22.

Would you also be able to comment on the other question please?

No we do not check for duplicates. Anything custom you add gets included.
