EPM dont change Timezone

Hello, I’ve recently started working with EPM. Currently, I’m trying to set the time zone. Unfortunately, it always just uses the default value and not the setting I want.

When I try to set the time zone, I need to replace the suggested variable with the value I want to enter and specify the permission from RW to Perm. Or am I doing this wrong? Is there any documentation where I can find information about which options I can set and what their correct names are?

File: global (global or phone-settings)
Perm: Perm (Perm or RW)
Parameter: timezone (many Options for other Settings)
Value: GER+1 (GER+1 or _timezone_)

_XXX_ is always the Option for loading the Value from the FreePBX?

Are there other Options for Perm?

Is there any documentation for the options?

Is the Value correct or need i one other value to set it correctly?

what ntp server are you using ? is it reachable from your phones ?

I use the ntp from the OPNsense. Yes, its reachabel from the phones.

The problem is the generated config file. I set the timezone to Ger+1 and the config said Fra+1. I did not understand why the EPM write another timezone to the file if i change it manuel.

Can you open a case ? help.sangoma.com and then send me the case number on a PM, I will take the case and work with you.

Thanks Sergio, I don’t know why, but after resetting, it writes the settings to the config file. So i think I don’t need a case. but thanks. Maybe it was a problem with the Snom Provisioning Guide. There is German one time as German and one time as Deutsch as Option. German don’t work, i have to set Deutsch as Value.

Can you pleas explain what R, W, and RW mean in the context of permission? And the Value with “_XX_”? I don’t found it at the documentation from the EPM. I´m not sure about de direction and the Source and Destination.

R = Read from FreePBX?

W = Write to Phone?

RW = Read from FeePBX and write to Phone?

“_XX_” = Load a variable from FreePBX?

If i understand it, RW only works with ”_XX_” and W only works with my own Value?

Thanks for your help.
