EndPoint Manager __line2extPort__ __transport1__

In the documentation for EPM[1], it does not document where the __transport1__ thru __transport6__ values are pulled from. It simply says “Sangoma.”

It documents that __line1extPort__ thru __line24extPort__ are pulled from “the extensions module.” But it’s not clear where in the extensions module the value is pulled.

I am using the Yealink template for a variety of Yealink endpoints (eg. T46G, VP59) and these variables seem to be coming across incorrectly. I can hard code the values using the basefile editor, so I have a work around, but I’d love to get them working correctly.

Ideally, the __transportx__ variables would be “2” for TLS transport and the __linexextPort__ variables would be “5061.” FWIW, they are coming across as “0” and “5060” respectively.

Each of the extensions in the extensions module are configured as pjsip and with Extensions > xxx > Advanced > -Edit Extension > Transport set to “Auto.” When I export the extensions, the “transport” column is empty (all entries are blank). The Media Use received Transport toggle is set to “No.”

FWIW, I did try setting Extensions > xxx > Advanced > -Edit Extension > Transport set to “0.0.0.0-tls” for a couple of endpoints (aka extensions). I verified the value in the exported extension CSV from Bulk Handler. But, it did not change the value generated for account.1.sip_server.1.transport_type and account.1.sip_server_port. They are still coming across as “0” and “5060.”

I can’t find where the default/global setting is for the pjsip transport method. (I’m presuming port 5061 will be picked up automagically if TLS is set as the transport.)

Does anyone know how to configure FreePBX through the UI so that the __transportx__ and __linexextPort__ pickup “2” and “5061” without resorting to manually overriding the account.1.sip_server.1.transport_type value through the clunky basefile edit?

I’m hoping someone that works on EPM can take a look at the source and give a definitive answer.

Bump.

Is there a better place to get support for commercial modules like EPM? If this is the right place, I hope my thread bump doesn’t upset anyone. I just don’t want to lose a week if I’m not posting in the right place. -Mark
