When provisioning my SIP phones using the endpoint configuration manager templates, I’ve noticed that the Polycom 601 templates don’t allow the Buddy List to be configured via the “forms” near the bottom of the page, even though the phones support buddy watch. The 650’s for example, do have a “Buddy List” tab on the template configuration page. I can configure the buddy watch on the 601’s by creating a custom 000000000000-directory.xml with the proper parameters, but it’d be nicer if it was consistent with the other templates. Is there some way to enable this?
