Dynamically control wrap up time

Can the agent get out of wrap up time (default 60 sec) , if they get free before.
I tried unpausing the agent, but it seems the wrap up time is not pausing the agent.
Any tips ?

Something similar was asked recently. The answer is no. Also, wrap up time applies to queue members, not to agents, which are something different, in Asterisk.

If wrap up time being too long is a regular occurrence, it might be better to always pause, and have the agent unpause when ready.

The point is to allow only the required wrap up time to members.
