Dynamic route a sync url lookup

Hi FreePbx guru’s!

We are using the dynamic routes in our system and that works good only we use the Dynamic Route Lookup Source and that some times give a curl timeout. Would it be possible to do a a sync call so that the route will never get in a timeout?

The lookup is only to pass the caller ID and the inserted code as logging in a external system.
