I am very new with FreePBX and IP phones, but have inherited the support responsibilities of the phone system at my office. We have a round robin queue setup for incoming calls. Our users use Aastra IP phones. We have been having issues with users pressing the “Goodbye button” to avoid certain incoming calls. This puts the caller back into the queue. I was able to disable that function of the goodbye button by using a command in the config file for each phone, but now users are using the ignore option on the phone’s digital display when a call comes in to do the same thing. Is there a command I can add to the config file to disable the ignore option on the screen? Also, is there a way to log the phone activities of the phone agents to see which ones are doing this?
Thanks for any help.
