Disable/dont play voicemail greetings default

Hello guys,

i’m new in freebpx.
i want to disable the default greeting for all SIP voicemails

background: its a litte callcenter with about 300 little queues.
each queue should have his own mailbox. so i created 300 sip extensions
and enabled the voicemail.

better ideas?

To reduce your clutter

send the queue failover destination to an appropriate voicemail (no-msg) box

add

operator=no
review=no

to /etc/asterisk/voicemail.conf

doesnt work.
tried it in [general] and directly in the extension/voicemail.
review=no works fine, since i changed review from yes to no i only get
"thanks.goodbye." thats ok

Sending the queue failover works for me, always has.

What is your Distro/Versions/Platform? all that good stuff that would be necessary to go further.

Paste the logs for a call that “doesnt work”

Well Elastix doesn’t use a legitimate FreePBX, they forked it up a couple of years ago, , so we can’t really authoritatively help you here, pretty well everyone should be using FreePBX 2.9 or 2.10 to get dynamic help, sorry.

I can assure you that queue failover to a voicemail (no-msg) works in both of those versions, I just checked them both
