Disable BLF lights

Is there a way I’m not currently seeing to disable the BLF lights? I know this is an odd request but it seems they are causing some issues at a client’s office due to staff monitoring who’s talking to who and for how long.

It doesn’t really matter to me if they’re just off, stay green or stay red. They’d like the quick dial option but without showing status. I tried reconfiguring buttons on the s500/s505 phones to be speed dials instead of BLFs but it seems they still show the status of the extensions.

Change blfs to speeddials.

Ah… I did change this in the template but the client was testing on an extension that has custom buttons configured so the phone didn’t update with the changes. I wrongly thought it wasn’t working the way I wanted. Light bulb, thanks!
