Different Caller ID on the Same Route

Using FreePBX
Currently the Call Center is configured with several extensions calling out. Currently a different CID is used based on the Destination Route.
The outbound Route1 has CID1 and Route2 with CID2.

Is it possible to configure FreePBX so that single Extension calling out on Route2 will then use a different CID. (ie CID3)?

I’m not sure exactly what you are trying to do, but if you don’t force the CID on the outbound route it can be overridden by the CID you set on the extension level.
Also, there’s a commercial module which allows you to change CID on the fly.

This has been EOL’d for over 6 years plus. Time to upgrade for us to provide you with current working solutions that your version can support.
