Some users have their preferences set to notify them (email, SMS) when they get voicemail and that’s fine. But when that happens, is there a way for them to dial into the office IVR and press a number to get to the voicemail system in general (as if you were at a handset pressing *98) and not going directly to recording a message to a user?
Create a Misc Destination with a descriptive name and select “Dial Voicemail *98” from the drop down menu. Once created, it can be used as a destination in your IVR or inbound route or wherever you need it.

During an IVR dial “*+exten number”. That will take you directly to the VM for that extension.
No further programming is needed.
