Dial Plan GXP2160

So I was having a issue when hitting the Call Fwd Button in the grandstream GXP2160. When hitting the button it would ask for the number to be forwarded to and then disappear. Would not fwd any calls. So I got to looking and found out that it was the dial pattern in freepbx that was now allowing it to work.

Here is the dial Plan in Freepbx

{x+|*x+|*x+|[0-9#]+}

Here is the default dial plan for the grandstream gxp2160

{ x+ | +x+ | *x+ | xxx+ }

I am not a dial plan got but i know what each option does but is there any reason that I cannot see why the dial plan is different.

Are the dial plans the same for all phones in the EPM

What I really want to accomplish is to create a dial plan when a user dials
4633500 (without area code)

to instantly dial out without waiting for the 4 seconds or the user hitting # or send keys after the number

I have this so far.

Does anybody see any issues with this.
**xxx is for direct dial pickup
*xxx is for voicemail transfer
[3]xxx is for old centrex dialing ( old timers) :slight_smile: We have 2 PRI now but the users cried when I didn’t have 4 digit dialing setup.
[2-9]xxxxxx 7 local numbers
1[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxx long distance numbers
[3469]11

{ **xxx | *xxx | [3]xxx | ^1900x.| [2-9]xxxxxx | 1[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxx | [3469]11 }

my goal is to have

**xxx is for direct dial pickup
*xxx is for voicemail transfer
[3]xxx centrex last 4 of number dialing ( can be taken away if needed)
[2-9]xxxxxx 7 local numbers
1[2-9]xx[2-9]xxxxxx long distance numbers
[3469]11
ext to ext dialing is the old thing I can see i am missing.
