I’m using freePBX 17 and need some help creating a dial pattern for an outbound route. I need a dial pattern to be able to dial any of the following numbers: 999,101,111,112
Not sure what I should put in the match pattern field. I then only want this route to be be allowed for caller ID’s 301,302,309,310
Can anyone help? i’m assuming I need a match pattern and something in the CallerID field.
These are the UK emergency number, the UK non-emergency police number, the UK non-emergency medical assistance number, and the EU emergency number.
I don’t know what the current UK rules are for these on PABXes, but I believe it would be illegal to restrict the US equivalents of the first and last of these, on a system in the USA.
Even if it is legal in the UK, you cannot achieve this in a single outbound route definition. You will need at least two different caller ID patterns, and at least three different dialled number patterns, so I think you will need to use a total of six rules.
